Property Management Accountant

System One is assisting a company in the Tulsa Metro area with a search for a Property Management Accountant. This position will work with a team of people who excel in their areas of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for assigned properties

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and year end adjustments

- Review accounts payable

- Review accounts receivable, tenant ledgers, and rent roll reconciliation

- Process tenant billings, move-outs, and reconcile adjustments

- Monitor cash balances daily and prepare bank reconciliations for multiple property accounts monthly

- Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and accruals

- Coordinate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights

- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, lease agreements, and company policies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in real estate or property management accounting preferred

- Strong understanding of GAAP

- Proficiency with property management software

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
