Office Administration Associate
Transition Academy – Work‑Based Learning
Reports To: Human Resources and WBL Coordinator
Job Status: Non‑Exempt
DAYS/HOURS OF JOB: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (Quarter 1 and Quarter
2)
Shift 1: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Shift 2: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Duration: 4 to 12 weeks
Provide support for office administration departments by facilitating day‑to‑day clerical duties and logistics.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Welcoming visitors and directing them to the relevant office or personnel.
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling printing and document preparation including office correspondence, memos, resumes, and presentations.
- Data entry and record keeping.
- Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings, and conference‑room schedules to prevent duplicate bookings.
- Performing bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
- Maintaining general office files and files related to the company’s operations.
- Overseeing the maintenance of office supplies and equipment.
- Performing other relevant duties as needed.
- Enrollment as a Transition Academy student.

- Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Criminal arrest check will be conducted through OSBI; under Title 56, HB 1790, applicants with any felony or misdemeanor conviction, guilty plea, or plea of nolo contendere are not eligible for employment unless a waiver is obtained from the Office of the Director, DDSD, Department of Human Services, or designees.
- Community Services Registry check (HB 1790) will be conducted through DDSD, Department of Human Services; individuals listed on the registry are ineligible to work for A New Leaf.
- Employees and A New Leaf are engaged in an at‑will employment relationship, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time with or without reason and with or without notice.
The student must complete an application and interview with the manager of the assigned work‑based learning site for office administration.
