Role Overview:
The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and light vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting multi-point inspections, maintaining a clean and safe shop, driving vehicles safely, and supporting team tasks. The role involves customer service, parts pickup, and adhering to safety procedures.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License if not already held. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and ability to work Monday through Saturday are required.
Key Skills & Duties- Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
- Performing oil changes and light maintenance
- Conducting vehicle inspections & documenting conditions
- Maintaining shop organization and safety
- Driving vehicles safely and courteously
- Supporting team members with assigned tasks
Working Conditions:
