Location:

Owasso Campus.

• Two (2) years of experience working as a professional photographer with portrait, fine art and commercial photography experience is required.
• Certification in Photography is required. An associate’s degree or higher in a related field may be substituted for certification.
• Experience teaching adults is preferred.
• The work schedule for this position requires flexibility to work one or two nights per week as scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall semesters.

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
• Instruct students in competency‑based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
• Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
• Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
• Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e., prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
• Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech’s ACD program.
• Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
