O-K Bit Service has been serving the HDD, Water Well, Mining, Construction, and drilling industries for more than 50 years. We are seeking an experienced Director level candidate to lead product innovation and manufacturing support across multiple drilling product lines.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving product strategy and development, while also driving implementation through manufacturing support.
What You'll Do- Lead product development efforts for hole openers, reamers, and related drilling products with an emphasis on HDD.
- Develop and execute product line strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Work closely with operations, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Support manufacturing improvements, quality initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
- Identify new market opportunities within HDD, Construction, Mining, and Water Well sectors.
- Serve as a technical leader for customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, product development, or product management experience.
- Extensive experience with hole openers and/or roller cone drill bit products.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and product development.
- Product line management experience with engineered industrial products.
- HDD and/or drilling industry experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results across multiple departments.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus.
- Established industry leader with more than 50 years of success.
- Strong reputation for product quality, technical expertise, customer service, and reliability.
- Broad product offering serving multiple drilling markets.
