ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Network Administrator designs, installs, configures, and maintains the organizations LAN, server, workstations, printers and other hardware. One must demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership and the ability to focus on results enabling businesses to operate more effectively. The position requires that the qualified candidate provide assessments, written documentation and technical leadership using industry best practices in the industry, and perform related work as required.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Configure and maintain the existing environment including physical and virtual servers, workstations, network, software, and other systems
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments
- Develop procedures and documentation
- Provide training to staff and employees on systems support and operation
- Perform to ensure and validate compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks
- Preparation and testing of new applications for deployment
- Managing communications with third party vendors
- Interface with end-users, management, and in-house team members
- Tracking and installing updates and new versions of software as needed
- This position is located in Tulsa, OK and the successful candidate would be required to travel and be in this area
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required
- Perform other duties and projects assigned
Experience supporting several of these platforms:
- Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Remote Desktop Services
- Microsoft 365 platform including Entra , Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Virtualization using VMware, Hyper‑V, or other enterprise technologies
- Storage Area Networks
- Tier 1 server hardware including blade and standalone servers in a datacenter environment
- TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, MPLS, Firewall, air gap networks and other networking technologies
- Managing, monitoring, and alerting using industry standard technology
- Good organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including strong technical communication skills to effectively interface with both Operations and Information Services Personnel
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills including crisis management and resolution
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team‑oriented work environment
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
- Must be able to pass a 10‑year Background/Criminal check and pre‑employment drug screen
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION- At least 3 years in Server or Network Administration
- Experience in medium or large IT environments
- Experience in a regulated IT environment, meeting one or more compliance frameworks
- Vendor certification such as MCSE, CCNA, VCP or similar is beneficial
