ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generates and processes reports from AIMS as directed by Scheduling checklist at the time the checklist specifies (75% of duties)
  • Learn and interpret Federal Aviation Regulations as they apply to Omni Air International
  • Create and file written irregularity reports when crew members are not able to perform assigned duties
  • Determine if crews are available for Ad Hoc trips proposed by Marketing
  • Create and monitor Pilot and Flight Attendant ground duties, and flight duties according to FARs and company policies
  • Distribute crew schedules to individual crew members as well as publish notifications of any changes from their original schedule
  • Audit Per-Diem requests
  • Submit authorized Per-Diem forms to payroll
  • Provide assistance as needed to Manager of Crew Scheduling
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task, and think quickly and efficiently
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous office experience of 3 years or greater
  • Previous Crew Scheduling experience preferred, but not required

MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires ability to handle numerous activities at one time
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
