City Manager – Kingfisher, Oklahoma

The City of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced professional to serve as City Manager. The role is the chief executive officer of the City, responsible for the overall management of City operations and administration.

• Lead and supervise all City departments and administrative functions.
• Provide vision, leadership, and general direction to department heads.
• Coordinate and evaluate the performance of City management teams to achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of City Commission policies and ensure compliance with State statutes and federal regulations.
• Administer Commission‑appointed positions and ensure effective governance.
• Maintain residence in Kingfisher within one year of appointment.

• Master’s Degree in public administration or related discipline preferred, with at least two years of experience in an appointed managerial or administrative position; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with five years of management experience.
• Adoption and compliance with the ICMA Code of Ethics.
• Candidate may not be a City resident at the time of appointment, but must reside in Kingfisher within one year.

• Salary range: $110,000 to $125,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.

• Participation in the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) with a 7.5% employee contribution and 12.5% employer match; vested after eight years.
