46 is seeking an Open House, Open Minds Program Coordinator to steward, coordinate, and scale OHOM conversations across Oklahoma. This role is central to building the infrastructure that allows OHOM to grow beyond an early-stage pilot into a repeatable, community-embedded program.
Depending on funding, the role may be responsible for managing a team of hourly community organizers across one or more target counties:
Tulsa, Oklahoma, Comanche, Cleveland, Pontotoc, Cherokee, Payne, Canadian. The Program Coordinator will work closely with and lead the community organizing team, ensuring conversations are consistently scheduled, well-supported, and aligned with the OHOM model.
- Plan, organize, manage, and facilitate 8 OHOM conversations per month.
- Coordinate logistics for OHOMs held in neutral or semi-public locations (e.g., repro
46 office, coffee shops, bookstores) to reduce hosting barrier - Assist in identifying partners across the state for facilitating OHOM conversations
- Serve as repro
46’s Host Concierge, providing hands-on, relational support to new and prospective hosts - Conduct 1:1 support with hosts to:
- Brainstorm and curate guest lists
- Share sample invitation language
- Help hosts decide how to structure their first conversation
- Make hosting feel approachable, supported, and finite — not overwhelming
- Coordinate facilitator trainings
- Organize and manage practice OHOM conversations so facilitators can observe and build confidence before leading in-person conversations
- Support facilitators with scheduling, preparation, and communication
- Ensure there is follow-up with every participant after the OHOM
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; comfortable managing multiple timelines
- Highly relational and people-centered; enjoys supporting others one-on-one
- Experience in community organizing, nonprofit programs, or volunteer management (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable providing structure and self-accountability

- This is a part-time, contract role. The initial contract will be for six months (up to $13,750 = $26.44 per hour)
- Up to 20 hours per week, with evening and weekend availability required due to conversation scheduling
- Must have reliable transportation
- Potential to transition into a full-time employee role based on fit, performance, and organizational needs
- Must regularly travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma City and other target counties
