RN-Charge Nurse, Behavioral Health

• Supervise and manage behavioral health nursing staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and best practices.
• Coordinate care planning and execution in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient care and advocate for their mental and physical health needs.
• Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide feedback and training to ensure high‑quality standards and personal development.
• Manage administrative duties including scheduling, patient records, and compliance with health regulations.
• Participate in the development of patient care programs and support initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Ensure the integration of spiritual care into patient treatment plans, aligning with SSM Health's mission.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatment methods, and behavioral health nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to handle high‑stress situations and make critical decisions effectively.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certification in psychiatric‑mental health nursing (RN‑BC) preferred.
