Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist in conducting internal audits.
  • Support external customer and regulatory audits (FAA, NADCAP).
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review, track, and close audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements and customer‑specific quality requirements.
  • Assist with supplier audits and vendor list evaluations.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review and approve special process documentation (plating, coatings, NDT, shot peen, etc.).
  • Support quality training and awareness programs for shop floor and office personnel.
Qualifications – Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field OR 5+ years in FAA/EASA regulated environment.
  • Basic understanding of QMS and auditing concepts.
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA regulations).
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and process discipline.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Preferred:
    Prior internship/co‑op or 1–2 years’ FAA/EASA experience; familiarity with special processes (NDT, coatings, heat treat); internal auditing experience; AS9100 Internal Auditor certification (training can be provided).
