This position is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and safe lifting practices. You will spend most of your shift on your feet, with availability needed in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight based on the store's needs. Your Day at Lowe'sYour daily tasks will keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. Additionally, you may assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are highly active, with scheduling based on the needs of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers and answering questions.
- Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down‑stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment by adhering to procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use.
- Operate store equipment, including scanners and other tools as needed.
- Actively contribute as a team player to complete additional tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
- 3 months experience operating forklift or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- 6 months experience in a warehouse handling inventory and stocking.

Travel RequirementsThis role generally does not involve regular travel, but occasional travel may be required for meetings, training sessions, or supporting nearby stores.
Working ConditionsEnvironmental factors may vary by location. You could work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions, with exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume, with guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds, and team lifts for heavier items. Use powered equipment as required, following proper training and procedures.
