• The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Medical Center premises and patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
• Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.
• Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. This position is safety sensitive.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid ARMED Guard CLEET License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Annual CLEET requalification handgun & shotgun required by a CLEET certified instructor
• Maintains OC/Pepper Spray certification
• Upholds Crisis Intervention Training from SAMA – SATORI and obtains certification within 30 days of hire

• One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements
• Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement
