MECHANICAL JOURNEYMAN – COMMERCIAL HVAC INSTALLATION

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS – PAID AFTER 90 DAYS!

Tankco MEP is looking for an experienced Mechanical Journeyman who knows commercial HVAC installation inside and out.

We need someone who can walk onto a commercial project, understand what needs to happen, organize the work, and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Qualified Mechanical Journeymen are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days of employment.

YOU KNOW HOW TO INSTALL:

• Complete commercial HVAC & mechanical systems
• RTUs and split systems
• Air handlers and exhaust systems
• Commercial ductwork and sheet metal
• Transitions, offsets, fittings, and equipment connections
• Full mechanical systems from layout through completion

YOU KNOW HOW TO LEAD:

We're looking for more than someone who can install.

You should be able to:

• Read mechanical plans, prints, and specifications
• Lay out work directly from the plans
• Lead and direct installers and apprentices
• Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, GCs, and other trades
• Identify problems before they become expensive problems
• Keep your crew productive and the project moving
• Maintain quality and jobsite safety
• Work alongside your crew when needed

THIS IS NOT A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE POSITION

This position is focused on COMMERCIAL MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION.

We're looking for someone with extensive commercial installation experience — someone who understands how the entire mechanical system comes together, not just one piece of it.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Journeyman-level mechanical/HVAC experience
• Extensive commercial installation experience REQUIRED
• Strong ductwork and sheet metal knowledge
• RTU, split system, air handler, and equipment installation experience
• Previous lead, foreman, or field leadership experience
• Ability to independently read plans and lay out work
• Strong field problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and ready to work
