** Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club is seeking a Golf Manager to join the Golf Operations Department.
The Golf Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations at the golf course. He will lead by example to manage the golf staff and serve as the "face" of the golf operation for the members and guests. The Golf Manager is expected to carry out these duties in accordance with Discovery Land’s expectations and standards to provide a world-class experience for all members and guests.

The Golf Manager will also be responsible for leading, training and coaching the Golf Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities
* Greeting members and guests at the Practice Facility as they arrive at the golf course.
* Ensure all fleet carts are in accordance with Baker’s Bay’s standard in the staging area.
* Lead daily Line-Up with the outside staff.
* Manage staff and delegate daily tasks.
* Be the face of the golf operation and interact with members and guests.
* Host prospects and guests on the golf course.
* Become part of the teaching program - particular growth with our junior members.
* Run member golf events daily.
* Lead an integral part of the fleet cart management; ensuring all carts are operational.
* Ensure Daily practice tee set-up and ensure proper utilization of turf.
* Overseeing the management and inventory of the rental club.
* Lead golf staff in tournament operations and set up.
* Present ways to improve the golf operation.

Qualifications
* Preferred 5 years of private club golf industry experience.
* Good managerial and leadership skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Possess exceptional human relations skills and the ability to relate courteously and tactfully to a wide variety of personalities.
* Work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
* College degree preferred.

* Strong organizational skills & leadership abilities.
* Must possess exceptional Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
