Join a growing, family-owned petroleum transportation company that values integrity, safety, and strong leadership. We’re seeking a hands-on Fleet Manager to lead daily operations, supervise drivers and mechanics, and ensure peak performance across multiple terminal locations. This is a full time, hybrid role, with travel to multiple fleet truck yards, overseeing operations. This role requires living and working near Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Fleet

Manager – Benefits and Compensation:
  • Base salary of $80,000–$95,000+, depending on experience
  • Company-provided truck for travel between locations with all mileage and travel expenses paid
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off: up to 3 weeks annually, including 1 week in your first year
  • Monday–Friday schedule with a 45–50 hour workweek (some nights/travel required)
Fleet Manager – Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet or transportation management
  • Proven leadership managing drivers, mechanics, and operational staff
  • Oversee daily logistics, maintenance coordination, and compliance across terminals
  • Enforce DOT, safety, and internal company policies
  • Manage payroll accuracy, employee training, and performance goals
  • Conduct road tests, assist with hiring, and lead safety meetings
  • Coordinate VAPE testing, inspections, uniform program, and permit updates
  • Travel 50%+ to various locations and maintain strong inter-site communication
  • Collaborate with dispatch and upper management to align fleet capacity with operational needs
Fleet Manager – Preferred Background & Skills:
  • Experience in petroleum delivery or trucking/logistics industry
  • Strong communication and team-building skills
  • Ability to lead in a high-stress, high-responsibility environment
  • Proficiency with fleet systems (e.g., Omnitracs) and Microsoft Office
  • Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (preferred, not required)
  • Solid judgment, time management, and attention to safety/compliance details
