Overview
Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist will be responsible for accurate, complete, and timely processing of Accounts Payable invoices assigned. The position is critical to Apogee’s Requisition to Pay process. Analytical abilities, strong communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft suite of products (particularly Excel) are critical to success in the position.
Responsibilities- Verify three-way match by comparing purchase orders, prices, receipts, and line items to ensure accurate payment to suppliers.
- Troubleshoot problems throughout the procure-to-pay process; collaborate with buyers, receivers, operations teams, and suppliers for resolution.
- Assist in month-end by ensuring all invoices received have been processed and accounted for in each period.
Required: High School diploma or two years of accounts payable experience. Previous ERP experience preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting.
Preferred: Accounting associate degree or two years of accounts payable experience.
Pay Range$21.00 - $27.00/hour
Work EnvironmentThis position is located at our Viracon office in Owatonna, MN. Hybrid work arrangement with expectation of working in office a minimum of 3 days per week. Core operational support hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST.
