The Classroom Educational Assistant supports classroom teachers and school staff in meeting the educational needs of every student, with a primary focus on serving 9-12 ALC students. Responsibilities include reinforcing skills through reading and math groups, supporting social-emotional development, and providing supervision as needed. The role promotes a high-quality learning environment for all students.

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student support.
• Lead reading and math groups for 9-12 ALC students.
• Reinforce social-emotional skills and provide supervision.
• Maintain a supportive and equitable learning environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate degree preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

• Growth mindset and flexibility as a professional.
• Strong equity lens, ensuring all students learn at high levels.
• Ability to build impactful professional relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

5.5 hours/day, Monday-Friday, 8:15 am-2:15 pm.

B-2-1 $ 18.64 – $22.44 per hour, depending on experience.

Employee will accumulate Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) / Sick Leave.
