The Engineering Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for engineering functions, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with organizational objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and lifecycle management of our commercial and industrial chiller and air handling unit (AHU) portfolios. As a key leader, you will set engineering strategy, drive execution across multiple teams or programs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

You will partner with executive leadership, operations, product, and commercial teams to guide innovation, resource planning, and long-term capability development. This position is central to building high-performing teams, advancing engineering standards, and delivering measurable business impact.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Master's degree (e.g., M.S. Engineering or MBA) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 5 to 7 years in senior leadership or multi-team management roles.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in HVAC systems, with significant, hands-on exposure to chillers and/or air handling equipment.
• Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional engineering organizations or complex technical programs.
• Strong technical background with the ability to guide architectural, design, and engineering decisions.
• Demonstrated success aligning engineering strategy with business and financial objectives.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and long-term workforce planning.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and change management capabilities.
• Strong business acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience implementing enterprise-level engineering processes, standards, and governance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both executive and technical audiences.
• Experience operating in regulated, manufacturing, technology, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
