SummarySeeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead new product development, product improvement, and cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The role involves evaluating customer requirements, developing product concepts, leading cross-functional project teams, performing engineering analysis, and supporting products throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical design expertise and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and product development.
Required/ Mandatory Skills
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Product design and development experience
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, aluminum casting, fabrication, and machining
- Engineering analysis, stress calculations, and finite element analysis (FEA)
- CAD design experience (Solid Works preferred)
- Cross-functional project leadership
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate customer requirements into product solutions
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of progressive product engineering experience
- Experience leading new product development and product improvement projects
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
