Job Title:
New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer – HVAC Air Handling Units (AHU)
We are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer with 7–10+ years of commercial HVAC equipment experience to lead the launch of custom and standardized Air Handling Unit (AHU) products.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 7–10+ years of NPI experience in commercial HVAC equipment
- Strong 3D CAD skills –
Solid Works, Inventor, or Creo - Experience with sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, DFM/DFA, FMEA and standard work
- Knowledge of AHU components including coils, DX systems, chilled water loops, EC/plug fans and filter racks
- Experience with prototype/pilot builds, testing & validation, supplier coordination and PPAP
- Understanding of electrical panels and low/high-voltage testing
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, UL, OSHA, EPA and DOE compliance
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP is a plus
Ideal candidates: Mechanical/NPI Engineers with hands-on experience taking commercial HVAC/AHU products from design through prototype, pilot build, validation and production launch.
