Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in Breast Imaging (BI) for a clinic radiology setting in Minnesota, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities- Outpatient clinic radiology setting with a focus on breast imaging, mammography, and ultrasound
- 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with availability required across rotating shift times: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, and 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
- Every 7th weekend required, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- On-call required every 17th weekend from 6:00 AM–10:00 PM with a 30-minute response time
- 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Charting via Epic EMR
- 13-week contract
- Produces high-quality diagnostic images in compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and departmental standards
- May be scheduled to work in both mammography and ultrasound; technologists are required to maintain mammography certification
- Additional credentialing may be required for advanced modalities within breast imaging
- Practices radiation and patient safety guidelines; fosters teamwork through effective communication
- Maintains flexibility across work locations and shift schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Travelers who have been on assignment for one calendar year must take a 30–60 day break before beginning a new assignment
- COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology/Breast Imaging required
- Associate's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited radiography program required
- Active ARRT certification required; advanced ARRT certification in mammography preferred
- Active state license required, if applicable
- BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
- No pending licensure accepted
- Ability to work independently and across varied shift times, lengths, and locations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
