Responsibilities- Analyze, interpret, and prepare orders and small‑scale projects for entry into Viracon’s Viper system.
- Assist the project management team during employee absences to ensure timely order processing and completion of all other project management tasks.
- Delegate prepared orders to the order entry team for processing.
- Maintain order accuracy and confirm completed orders back to the customer for review.
- Manage multiple orders/projects concurrently with minimal supervision and provide excellent customer service throughout all transactions.
- Problem‑solve, make decisions, and work to resolve issues.
- Consistently communicate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Apply knowledge of Viracon’s product offerings, production capabilities, and limitations.
- Maintain project/order files with required information according to Viracon’s filing retention policies.
- Utilize all technical tools used by the sales department.
- Follow all processes documented in Viracon’s Business Process System.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Management Team.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of customer service and/or order entry experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and perform the requirements of the Project Management I role during a 6–9 month training program.
- Strong attention to detail, self‑organizational skills, and ability to multi‑task.
- Knowledge of fractions, decimals, and geometric patterns.
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- A motivated, self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- Regular, full‑time attendance required.
- Ability to promote Viracon in a positive manner with adherence to company policies.
