Job Purpose
Perform functions to build and inspect company products, working with units or parts while following established procedures in a team environment.
ShiftMonday-Thursday, 7:30pm – 6:00am. Second shift with a $2perhour differential.
Essential Job Functions- Prepare necessary materials for assembly.
- Follow schedules and established procedures to assemble various components using hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ensure that all specifications are met to manufacture the highest quality product, including full testing of units and inspection of in‑process or final assemblies.
- Work at multiple stations as requested and be cross‑trained in support roles.
- Analyze rejected product, communicate findings to the Lead Assembler, and assist in problem resolution.
- Use calibration and testing equipment effectively, ensuring the product functions according to specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including proper removal of all waste and following material replenishment processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety and ability to use hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and other production equipment.
- Ability to perform basic math computations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with hand tools.
Requires lifting of up to 35lbs. Occasionally, requires hand/eye coordination, ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and turn consistently and repeatedly. Involves repetitive motion and a noisy work area.
