Distribution Material Handler - 1st shift

Quanex is looking for a Distribution Material Handler - 1st shift to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota
. The scheduled working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In this role you are responsible for receiving, pulling, and distributing components to assemblers to produce finished product necessary to fill customer orders.

• Operate a forklift to move pallets, load trucks, and move other items safely throughout the facility.
• Scan receiving documents and sort the incoming or outgoing orders.
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the department team to ensure seamless operations.
• Work in a safe manner to efficiently support the fulfillment of customer orders.

• Experience in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum of 3 years’ shipping and receiving forklift experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math: addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.

The hourly wage for this position is $20.30 per hour.
