Upholstery Assembler - 1st Shift

Performs assembly of upholstered parts and/or mechanical and electromechanical component parts.

• Understands and uses the proper equipment to produce high quality upholstery, including performing side sewing.
• Analyzes rejected product, communicates this with the Lead Assembler and assists in problem resolution.
• Assembles various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment, ensuring that all specifications are met to manufacture the highest quality product.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of safety

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with machine sewing
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with hand tools

Requires lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally. Involves repetitive motion. Work area can be noisy.

Base wage $19.00 – $22.13 per hour (includes overtime eligibility). Eligible for the Production Bonus Plan based on performance metrics.
