Fabricator Day Shift

Job Overview

As a Fabricator you will be part of a top‑notch team that operates state of the art fabricating technology. At CDI you will fabricate sheet metal for constructing HVAC products for battery manufacturing, ice arenas, hospital suites, food processing facilities and many others!

Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 am- 3:30 pm

• Fabricate parts for sheet metal HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.
• Set up jobs and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation.
• Fabricate parts using a laser, shear, punch or brake press.
• Use measuring tools accurately; including angle gauges, tape measures and Vernier calipers.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience including using small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.
