Job OverviewWe are hiring a Digital/Silkscreen Printer Operator for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Night Shift (Line Temp
7) team. The operator will run digital and silkscreen printing equipment to produce high‑quality printed glass, support furnace operations, and work with process engineering to maintain consistent output and quality.
- Operate digital printers, silkscreen equipment, and heat‑treating furnaces according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure printed glass meets quality and visual specifications while minimizing downtime.
- Perform quick setup and teardown procedures for printing jobs.
- Maintain ink supplies and equipment cleanliness, ensuring compliance with EPA and PCA requirements.
- Provide direction to support staff and assist with training new team members.
- Complete required daily documentation and ensure effective shift‑to‑shift handoffs.
- Assist with related production tasks such as glass loading and seaming as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of solvents, paints, and waste materials.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; 2‑year mechanical/technical education preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance, flexibility for overtime, and willingness to adjust to shifting work demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and use basic math for measurements.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Experience with power and hand tools; computer proficiency required.
- Ability to train peers and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English.
Pay: $23.40 per hour.
Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Days and some Saturdays 6a.m.–p.m. (Night Shift variable)
Large‑scale manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and chemicals. Requires the use of safety equipment such as gloves, goggles, and respirators. Frequent interaction with moving equipment and production machinery.
