Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Sanitation Operator to join their team. As a Sanitation Operator, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting the entire production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sanitation Operator
Location: Owatonna, MN
Pay Range: $20.50
Shift: 1st (6am - 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday)
What's the Job?
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area.
- Report all pest activity to Lead Operators and management.
- Evaluate critical areas that need cleaning attention.
- Assist all departments with emergency cleaning needs.
- Ensure daily sanitation requirements are maintained, including safe handling and documentation of chemicals used.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Sanitation experience is preferred in a food environment setting.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.
