Quality Inspector - Fabrication

We are in search of a Quality Inspector with a long-standing local company where you can grow your skills and professional career.

  Wednesday to Saturday OR Part-Time Friday-Sunday
• Hours:
  
  6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Wage: $20.00/HR+ - Depending on experience

Supported Industries Include:

Agricultural & Turf Equipment:
They design and manufacture precision application technology (like seeders, spreaders, and agricultural tools).

Custom Metal Fabrication:
They act as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) custom metal fabricator for other industries, including automotive aftermarket, HVAC, construction, and underground infrastructure.

• Using Precision Gauges:
  Utilizing tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and potentially specialized equipment to check tight tolerances on CNC-machined parts or stampings.
• Weld & Finish Assessment:
  Gandy relies heavily on custom welding (MIG welding) and surface finishing (they use specialized ITW Gema powder paint lines). A quality role involves checking weld integrity and assessing paint booth finishes for defects.
• In-Process and Receiving Checks:
  Inspecting incoming raw metal materials or components from suppliers, as well as checking items mid-production to catch errors early.
• Dimensional & Visual Inspection:
  Reviewing raw, assembled, and painted final products. You?ll be verifying that parts match blueprint specifications and engineering designs before they are shipped to OEMs or customers.

6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• 1-4 years

• Precision measuring tool experience
• Metal fabrication knowledge or experience
