* Job Description:

* Position Overview:

** The End Line Maintainer will safely ensure that all end center equipment is maintained and operating to produce finished can lids which meet all process specifications.
*
* Duties And Responsibilities:

*** Set-up and maintain all end center equipment—including the upender, unwinder, multi-die press, curler, liner, oven, bagging station, and conveyors.
* Set-up and service all support systems, such as compound supply, air, and vacuum systems.
* Inspect, orient, and load coils onto the unwinder, feeding them into the press.
* Manage the transfer of raw materials and finished products to and from the end center as needed.
* Conduct necessary quality checks to ensure the process meets standards, log data into the computer, visually inspect finished lids to verify compliance, and take corrective action if deficiencies are detected.
* Complete all required paperwork and documentation including process check sheets, logbooks, ESE, and maintenance check sheets.
* Assist in other production areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans and lids through the plant.
* Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices
* Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned

* Qualifications:

** In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

Minimum Requirements
* Strong mechanical skills, including working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Working knowledge of multi die press set-up and operation.
* Knowledge and understanding of quality lid specifications.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical components.
* Ability to use precision measurements devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and feeler gauges.
* Ability to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
* Knowledge of safety regulations which apply to work functions.
