Robotic Welder
Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Robotic Welder on our Weekend Day Shift. You'll operate welding robots to produce high-quality components for premium strength and fitness equipment used around the world.

What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor welding robots throughout production
- Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures and parts
- Perform visual quality inspections of parts and completed welds
- Remove weld spatter using a chisel or grinder as needed
- Tag completed rework jobs appropriately
- Complete daily equipment inspections
- Report material shortages or quality concerns to your Lead or Supervisor
- Safely operate a hoist to position parts
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude
- Punctual and dependable
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Welding and/or robotics experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Frequently lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Push and pull up to 30 lbs
- Walk, stand, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead throughout the shift
- Safely operate a hoist
- Exposure to repetitive motion, dust, vibration, welding fumes, and infrared/ultraviolet light
- Noisy environment; ear protection required
