Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Robotic Welder on our 3rd Shift. You'll operate welding robots to produce high-quality components for premium strength and fitness equipment used around the world.

• Base pay: $20.00-$23.88 per hour, based on qualifications and experience

What You'll Do:

• Operate and monitor welding robots throughout production
• Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures and parts
• Perform visual quality inspections of parts and completed welds
• Remove weld spatter using a chisel or grinder as needed
• Tag completed rework jobs appropriately
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Report material shortages or quality concerns to your Lead or Supervisor
• Safely operate a hoist to position parts
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude
• Punctual and dependable
• Commitment to working safely
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Welding and/or robotics experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Frequently lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Push and pull up to 30 lbs
• Walk, stand, bend, twist, turn, and reach overhead throughout the shift
• Safely operate a hoist
• Exposure to repetitive motion, dust, vibration, hazardous chemicals, welding fumes, ozone, and infrared/ultraviolet light
• Noisy environment; ear protection required

Your base wage will be between $20.00 - $23.88 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.

This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
