Position Description

Climate by Design is a place where you will see projects progress from start to finish. Working with blueprints, you will learn how to make the pieces fit together and then make it happen. Using various power tools, you will be assembling sheet metal and other components together as a team. Flex Shift: You choose your shift. The shift must be in 10 hour increments and start anywhere from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Your weekly shifts must be consistent.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling (construct) sheet metal HVAC equipment casings according to job specifications defined in drawings.
• Using overhead cranes, power tools, wrenches, levels, etc.
• Maintaining equipment, tools, and work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Accurately tracking work hours by job and activity on time card.
• Accepting other duties and responsibilities as assigned or when required by customer needs.

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Some experience assembling HVAC equipment is desirable.
