Job Overview
Welder – Owatonna, MN. Full-time, Direct-Hire. Starting at $24.00-$28.50 per hour depending on experience.
Working Hours7:30 PM – 6:00 AM (Various shifts available).

Schedule:
Enjoy a Monday‑Thursday schedule from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, giving you every weekend off. Overtime is mandatory on Fridays as needed. - Competitive Pay & Growth:

Sharpen your craft by working with and mastering various manual MIG welding techniques.
- Perform MIG welding on parts and frames, ensuring all work meets engineering standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine the correct welding processes and follow standard welding symbols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed welds to maintain strict quality and structural integrity standards.
- Handle a variety of duties including welding, grinding, and repairing welded assemblies on raw steel.
- Accurately complete and submit all required reports and documents on time.
- Operate hoists safely to position parts for welding.
- Effectively communicate any production issues or concerns to your supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A technical high school degree in the welding field.
- At least one (1) year of welding experience in a production environment (manual or robotic).
- Three (3) or more years of experience in production MIG welding.
No degree required.
Experience1–4 years.
Qualifications- Proficiency in setting up and using MIG welding equipment, oxyacetylene torches, sanders, grinders, and other hand tools.
- Knowledge of and experience with operating and reading measurement devices.
- All applicants must pass a GMAW skills test, which includes a single-pass weld on a 1/8 steel butt vertical down.
- Attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining production schedules.
