Production Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Lead to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Lead (DIRECT HIRE)
Location: Owatonna, MN
Pay Range: $27-$28 plus $3K Sign-On Bonus
Shift: Second Shift: 4:00PM to 2:30AM, Monday - Thursday with optional overtime

• Ensure preparation, mixing, and agglomeration are completed according to customer instructions.
• Operate all processing equipment and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise within the blend areas.
• Sterilize raw products using processing units, maintaining product purity from start to finish.
• Verify ingredients, record data accurately, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor process controls, document parameters hourly, and take immediate action on any out-of-spec conditions.

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in food or chemical manufacturing is ideal.
• Ability to operate and clean multiple processing systems, achieving competency in at least three.
• Strong adherence to GMPs and food safety policies.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP software experience is a plus.
