Join our Women’s Health team at our Faribault and Owatonna Clinic and delivery services at Owatonna Hospital. Our providers deliver exceptional, whole‑person care for women in a diverse regional community setting. Our services include dedicated multi‑specialty medical staff, obstetrical care, newborn care, and gynecology.
Women's Health Services We Offer- Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Health
- Integrative and Holistic Medicine
- Perinatal Mental Health and Behavioral Health
- Preventive Care and Wellness Services
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Support in Urogynecology
- Seven labor and delivery sites with 11,713+ deliveries/year
- 45 OB/GYNs, 28 OB/OBGYN Hospitalists, 20+ CNMs, 15 MFM specialists, Urogynecology
- Nursing support for triage, prescription refills, initial OB intakes, in‑basket help
- Pap hub for pap result management and communication for entire Allina system
- After‑hours answering service
- Work‑life balance
- Certified Nurse Midwife provides full spectrum women’s health care in a clinic setting including prenatal care, post‑partum visits, family planning and office gynecology services
- Clinic time split between Owatonna and Faribault Women’s Health clinics
- Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive OB/GYN and collaborative primary care physicians
- Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse‑Midwives and Minnesota statute
- Professional liability insurance including tail
- Clinic only
- Bachelor’s degree; graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Formal education as Nurse practitioner
- Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
- Certified Nurse Midwife – MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
Medium Work*:
Lifting weight up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs frequently.
Pay Range$130,000 to $145,000 per year. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full‑time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications- 1 year of Certified Nurse Midwife experience
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
