- Provide nursing services in accordance with state regulations, federal guidelines, and community policies
- Participate in pre-admission assessments for prospective residents
- Complete admission, monthly, and periodic resident assessments for functional and cognitive status
- Review and update resident assessments and care plans with any change in condition
- Administer and document medications following the Five Rights of medication administration
- Review and transcribe physician orders accurately and timely
- Coordinate resident medical, dental, and laboratory appointments
- Support compliance with all personnel policies and community procedures
- Participate in staff development and ongoing training programs
- Implement Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness procedures during drills and emergencies
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to exercise sound judgment while working independently. The RN will supervise, direct, and review the work of associates in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care departments.
Why You Are Qualified- Current RN license required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, senior living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, and assisting with resident transfers using proper equipment
