Registered Nurse - Radiology​/Surgical Services Pre​/Post

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Radiology Pre/Post provides nursing assessments, care, and recovery for patients across all ages undergoing diagnostic imaging and complex radiologic procedures.

• Assess and care for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Recover patients post-procedure, including sedation recovery and cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, and nurses.
• Coordinate nursing care, patient/family education, and care transitions.
• Support professional practice through leadership, mentorship, and quality improvement.
• Delegate tasks based on patient acuity, skill level, and resources.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of RN experience; recent ICU/PCU/PACU or monitoring/sedation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Valid RN license, BLS certification, and ability to work flexible hours.
• Additional certifications like ACLS/PALS are preferred.

The role is nonexempt, full-time, with a pay range of $42.44 - $65.44 per hour. The position involves working primarily weekdays with some weekend commitments and may involve driving as part of responsibilities.
