Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $18.50-$22.50/hour depending on experience

Shift: 2nd shift M-Th 4pm-2:30pm Type:
Temporary Project Starting from 7/20-8/7

What's the Job?
  • Perform laboratory testing and quality control checks to support production activities throughout the plant.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring, swabbing/testing, and routine & non-routine laboratory testing.
  • Verify sanitation processes and facilitate compliance with foreign material programs.
  • Review and disposition raw materials, enter QC data, and maintain manual records and logs.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Strong communication skills to provide quality updates and instructions to production staff.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, read and write effectively, and accurately record data.
