Position Summary
Walmart is expanding its workforce and seeks a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and hand/power tools.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
- 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass an MVR report.
- Vocational or technical certification with 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in the same trades.
- 1 year’s experience using intermediate‑level word processing, spreadsheet, email and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
- Comfortable working at heights frequently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 – $40.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid up to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
