Role Description

We are seeking full-time (25 hrs+) parent coaches to work in homes in Winona, Fillmore, Dodge, Steele, Waseca and Rice Counties. A Parent Coach will work directly with families, providing behavioral coaching and skills training to assist with developing healthier relationships and effective parenting strategies. Daily responsibilities include assessing family dynamics, creating personalized plans for behavioral improvement, offering tools and strategies for positive change, and collaborating with both parents and children to address challenges.

The Parent Coach will also provide encouragement and ongoing support, fostering lasting improvements in family interactions.

Qualifications
  • Experience in behavioral coaching, parenting strategies, or family counseling
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral and emotional support techniques for children and parents
  • Ability to work independently in on‑site family environments and maintain professionalism
  • Familiarity with educational, therapeutic, or social work settings is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or a background in psychology, social work, education, or related fields is preferred
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping families achieve lasting positive change
