Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will architect, design and create software that runs on or works with full‑stack desktop, mobile and online services for the Bosch Automotive Service Solutions diagnostics group. You will help change the way we create and develop new products, including vehicle diagnostic tools and reporting web services focused on diagnostic software for vehicle interfaces.

What You Will Do
  • Involved in front‑end design, development, coding, customization, configuration, and testing for Offline Web and Mobile solutions.
  • Help define the software architecture and design for exciting new products.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and adhere to software development best practices.
  • Provide system‑wide problem solving, solutions, and production support.
  • Use and adapt existing web applications & services, and mobile/desktop apps.
  • Create and test software prototypes.
  • Develop client displays and user interfaces for both online and offline cases.
  • Seek out and participate in personal development opportunities.
  • Grow and share knowledge of the latest technologies, industry standardization, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments in a dynamic product ecosystem.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience.
  • 1‑5+ years of full‑stack experience across architectures on platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows Servers, and Desktops.
  • Experience with Software Design Patterns and Practices (MVC, MVP, Interfaces, etc.).
  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, C#, Maui, Xamarin, C++, HTML, XML, TCP/IP, and other popular development languages.
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostic protocol stacks is a plus.
  • Proven ability in technical communications, both verbal and written.
  • Stay current with mobile app development terminologies, concepts, and best practices.
  • Ability to learn from others and adopt best‑in‑class industry standards.

Compensation & Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $82,000 – $110,000.
