Calling on an experienced Class A Truck driver in the Eagan and Burnsville areas this truck driver role offers reliable routes and allows the Truck Driver to be home daily.

Truck Driver

Description:

  • Class A CDL required
  • This truck driver averages $35/ hour with 10 to 12 hour days
  • The truck driver will work a set schedule, Starting between 6PM
    -9PM daily
  • Shift schedules include Sun-Thurs, Tues-Sat, Fri-Mon
  • The Truck Driver will operate a dry van or reefer, delivering food
  • Dock to Dock Delivery using an electric pallet jack
  • Six month minimum assignment- with possibly of long-term

What you ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
  • Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver s license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Must meet McLane s MVR and risk rating qualifications
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
