What

You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the LTC Business & Quality Integration Manager, the Administrative Assistant LTC will work closely with the Long‑Term Care homes, and the respective home leadership teams, to provide a full range of administrative support.

What We’re Looking For Education & Experience
  • Two-yearpost-secondary diploma in Business or Office Administration
  • Two years ofpreviousexperience in a key administrative role
Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience in community, retirement and long‑term care sectors would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of government and sector issues within long‑term care an asset
  • Ability to understand and synthesize information related to the long‑term care sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate(both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Ability to write moderately complex correspondence including memos,agenda sand letters
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to multi‑task and organize/prioritize various ongoing projects
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse and changing environment
  • High levelof integrity and work ethic
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills
  • Customer service orientated, displaying confidence and exceptional social skills
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully,diplomatically and professionally
  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
