The OpportunityReporting to the Facility Manager, the Electrician is responsible for providing electrical maintenance to Tiverton Ontario site. The successful candidate must exhibit strong problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Lay out, assemble, install, repair, connect or test electrical fixtures, apparatuses, control equipment and wiring systems of alarm, communication, light, heat or power in buildings and equipment. Example of daily tasks include:
- Preventative maintenance of high voltage lamps
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors, pumps and HVAC power supplies
- Lay out and install electrical appliances such as plugs, switches, and lights
- Input and update information in computerized maintenance management software
- Resolve maintenance issues or complaints
- Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times
- Communicate with team, contractors and suppliers
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with company safety procedures
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, including machine maintenance logs
- Must be able to work a variable of different shifts
- Other duties as assigned
- Electrician Certification of Qualification
- Problem solving skills; willingness and flexibility to foresee and overcome obstacles
- Knowledge of safety procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Basic knowledge in computer applications
- Ability to organize/prioritize workload
- Attention to detail and accuracy
This is a full-time position based out Tiverton, ON.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 CAD
