Roles and Responsibilities- Continuation of External Industrialization Pilot activities, with reduction of number of projects as the Lead.
- Managing a unit of up to 5 people (could include external contractors): supporting and challenging the teams, ensuring workload/capacity alignment and leading team rituals and reporting activities, standardizing business processes, etc.
- Steering the industrialization process and ensuring the manufacturability/repairability of products and processes—up to their final validation (PPAP) while maintaining the required robustness and adhering to cost, quality, schedule, and HSE objectives. In the event of a supplier transfer, you will lead the project once the supplier has been selected.
- Contributing to the pre-project phases of transfers and industrialization initiatives, and ensuring the proper application of APQP (continuous project risk assessment).
- Travel is to be expected to visit suppliers (once per month, or as needed) and abroad (once per quarter, or as needed), as well as to our headquarters in the Paris region to coordinate with our internal clients:
Central Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Program Purchasing (once per month, or as needed).
- The ability to understand and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
- Interpersonal communication skills; the ability to work effectively in a team and to mobilize others
- Project and milestone management; strong analytical and synthesis skills, and the ability to create effective reporting dashboards
- Perform other related duties as required
- BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or technically related engineering field
- Three to five years of work experience in manufacturing and industrialization processes
- Experience in data analytics and process statistics preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience – Green Belt certification preferred
- Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically
- Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards
