Are you an engineer who enjoys solving complex facility, utility, and infrastructure challenges while driving plant performance and capital improvements?
We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to lead facility engineering initiatives, capital projects, utility systems, reliability improvements, and infrastructure upgrades at a growing manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible role that will directly impact safety, operational efficiency, sustainability, and future plant growth.
What You’ll Do- Lead facility and infrastructure improvement projects from concept through startup and commissioning
- Plan and execute capital equipment installations, facility upgrades, and engineering improvement initiatives
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Support and optimize critical utility systems
- Partner with Operations and Manufacturing teams to identify and eliminate chronic equipment and facility issues impacting quality, delivery, cost, and safety
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, contractor plans, and resource requirements for facility improvement projects
- Manage maintenance inventories, critical spare parts, engineering budgets, and capital expenditures
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements including hazardous waste and recycling programs
- Support sustainability initiatives and greenhouse gas reduction efforts across the facility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of engineering experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, utility, or facility operations
- Experience with facility infrastructure, utilities, plant engineering, maintenance engineering, or capital project execution
- Strong project management skills with experience leading projects from planning through implementation
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, and outside contractors
- Self-directed problem solver with strong communication and organizational skills
