Mechanical Project Manager Traveling Role
- Data Center Construction

The Mechanical Project Manager oversees mechanical construction activities for large data center projects across multiple locations. This role manages field execution, schedule, budget, and quality while traveling to project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Scope Management
  - Lead HVAC, hydronic, piping, and equipment installation activities.
• Data Center Execution
  - Support delivery of mechanical systems in mission critical environments.
• Site Travel
  - Travel to job sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and coordinate field teams.
• Scheduling
  - Maintain mechanical schedules and coordinate with GC, electrical, and commissioning teams.
• Cost Control
  - Track budgets, change orders, and financial performance.
• Quality and Safety
  - Ensure compliance with standards, perform inspections, and enforce safety requirements.
• Commissioning Support
  - Assist with testing, startup, and turnover of mechanical systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical construction or project management experience.
• Experience with large commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects.
• Ability to travel frequently for extended durations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems used in data centers is preferred.
