Are you a hands-on technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? As a Lead Gaming Technician
, you’ll play a key role in keeping the excitement alive on our gaming floor! This position leads day-to-day technical operations for gaming machines and related equipment while serving as the go-to expert for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
You’ll mentor fellow technicians, collaborate with leadership, and ensure our gaming technology runs seamlessly—delivering an exceptional and uninterrupted guest experience. If you enjoy problem-solving, teamwork, and being at the center of the action, this is the role for you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBe the lead technical expert during assigned shifts, supporting and guiding Gaming Technicians.
Mentor and coach team members to strengthen technical skills and build confidence.
Partner with the Performance Manager to prioritize tasks and keep operations running smoothly.
Take the lead in diagnosing and resolving complex or recurring machine issues.
Perform advanced inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on gaming equipment.
Work closely with vendors and manufacturers for major repairs and upgrades.
Minimize downtime and keep the gaming floor energized and fully operational.
Support Gaming Attendants and guests with technical questions or machine concerns.
Serve as an escalation point for advanced technical challenges.
Ensure full compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory documentation.
Install, configure, and validate gaming software and system updates.
Track performance trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve reliability.
Collaborate with security, attendants, vendors, and leadership to promote a safe, efficient, and exciting gaming environment.
Deliver professional, friendly service that enhances the overall guest experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support a dynamic gaming operation.
REQUIREDSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced troubleshooting skills with a passion for solving technical challenges.
Strong knowledge of gaming hardware, software, and networking systems.
Natural leadership ability with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certification in electronics, IT, or a related field preferred.
Experience as a Gaming Technician or in gaming machine repair, electronics, or IT support is required.
Prior lead or senior technician experience in a regulated gaming environment preferred.
Must obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and certifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSThis is an active, hands-on role on our exciting gaming floor. Team members are regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with arms.
